Follow the evidence from night to trial
Start with the action that produced the information. A visit list answers a different question from a Sheriff result, and a guilty vote uses a different threshold from a nomination. Mixing those systems is a common source of accusations against real Town roles.
Check the language before arguing about the result
A will often mixes an observation with a conclusion. “I saw Player 4 visit” reports a claimed observation; “Player 4 is confirmed” adds an interpretation. Compare the exact statement with the ability that could produce it before using it to close a role slot.

Rules first, decisions second
Once the possible interaction is clear, move to the relevant strategy guide. The Investigator table narrows compatible roles; the claim-space guide checks whether those roles can all fit the lobby. Neither a familiar result nor a confident speaker overrides the selected mode.
Prepare your account and interface
Read the scrolls, cosmetics and settings guide to separate role chances from cosmetic appearance, improve chat readability and save will templates before entering a lobby.
