These Town of Salem last will templates are starting formats. Replace every bracketed field with what actually happened. The layouts below are intentionally short enough to scan during a trial.

Copy-ready role formats

Sheriff

Sheriff
N1 - checked [number] - [exact result]
N2 - checked [number] - [exact result]
Reads (not results): [separate notes]

Keep innocent and suspicious as results; never silently convert innocent into confirmed Town.

Investigator

Investigator
N1 - [number] - [full role group]
N2 - [number] - [full role group]
Possible transport/frame/douse: [night and reason]

Record the full group rather than replacing it with the role the player later claimed.

Lookout

Lookout
N1 - watched [number] - visitors [numbers]
N2 - watched [number] - visitors [numbers]
Extra unnamed visitors: [night, if reported]

Record unnamed additional visitors when the three-person limit is reached. A disguise remains a possible identity exception.

Doctor or Bodyguard

[Doctor / Bodyguard]
N1 - protected [number] - feedback [message/none]
N2 - protected [number] - feedback [message/none]
Self-protection used: [night / not used]

Name the actual role. “Nobody died” is not equivalent to receiving a successful-protection message.

Spy

Spy
N1 - bug [number]: [feedback]
MV: [target numbers] | CV: [target numbers, Coven only]
N2 - bug [number]: [feedback]
MV: [target numbers] | CV: [target numbers, Coven only]

Bug feedback and faction visits answer different questions. Keep the two streams on separate lines.

Transporter and roleblockers

Transporter
N1 - swapped [number] and [number]
N2 - swapped [number] and [number]

Tavern Keeper
N1 - blocked [number] - [feedback]
N2 - blocked [number] - [feedback]

A Transporter needs both recipients. Tavern Keeper is the renamed Escort; old shorthand may still appear in chat.

Retributionist

Retributionist
N2 - used [dead number/role] on [living number]
Result: [exact feedback]
Used corpses: [numbers]

The corpse and the recipient are different targets. Do not write this as a permanent resurrection.

Jailor

Jailor
N1 - jailed [number] - claim [role]
N2 - jailed [number] - [executed / spared]
Executions remaining: [count]
Reason for execution: [brief evidence]

Keep the prisoner’s claim separate from confirmation. Share sensitive targets only when disclosure helps Town.

Preserve corrections visibly

If you mistype a target, mark the correction rather than silently rebuilding earlier nights to fit a new claim. The point of a will is a trustworthy chronology, not a perfect-looking story. Keep speculation below the mechanical log.

Using the game’s saved templates

The original game added last-will templates to Customization in patch 3.3.11. Save a blank format for the roles you play often, then fill it during the match. Copying these examples requires no clipboard permission; select the relevant block and use your normal copy command.
