Why it belongs beside Town of Salem

Untrusted combines hidden factions, night abilities and public accusations. The group has to interpret actions while deciding whether a claimed specialist actually helped. If you enjoy comparing a claimed target with another player’s evidence in Salem, the same habit matters here: a confident account of the night is still a claim until something else supports it.

The operation changes the priorities

NETSEC is working toward access to a target node; undercover Agents are trying to stop that operation and eliminate the hackers. Neutral roles add personal goals. This gives the team a second problem beyond finding an enemy: useful work must continue while trust is uncertain. A specialist can look helpful because an action advanced the operation, yet that single contribution need not establish a whole game of loyalty.

Read the role before choosing an action

Check which side you serve and what your current ability can accomplish. Keep a concise action history, distinguish your own result from information supplied by another player, and explain why your next target helps the objective. When two stories disagree, compare the timing and the actual claimed action before judging tone. The hacking map and role set need their own learning time; Salem role names do not translate directly.
